Very young, after having learned that pencils are not to be eaten, I started to use them to leave my trace in different places, namely in the pages of my parent’s cherished encyclopedia collection. These same books captivated me by their images and sparked in me the craving to see everything and the thirst for knowledge. My path continues today in that direction, but in a more opened way. My drawings are found in books, magazines & exhibits.
I don’t like straight lines. I like it when they break. I like them organic & alive. I love it when they tangle to become something different, bringing us elsewhere. I like the unexpected. And most of all, I don’t want anyone tracing double lines on my path preventing me to step aside and to face one on one, questions and doubt.
